It all started at the end of the first half, when APOEL hooligans threw a homemade bomb near the ball boy. The boy was taken to the hospital, then riots broke out. According to some sources the ball boy (17 y.o. AEL fan) was provoking APOEL supporters for 40 minutes. After the break the match was continued.
