Police in Belgrade ready for tonight’s basketball match between Zvezda and Galatasaray 16.01.2014

A large number of police officers, in uniform and in civilian clothes, blocked part of the airport and escorted Galatasaray team to the hotel, who arrived from Istanbul in Belgrade by charter flight , where tonight play against Crvena Zvezda on the match of highest risk.

On the part from the highway to the airport and on streets around the Belgrade Arena police is deployed at every hundred meters.

Security measures in Belgrade are at the highest level, and as from this morning police has increased controls on the entrances to the capital city of Serbia.

In addition to more than 2000 members of the police, are backed with special Anti-Terrorist Unit.
The match between Red Star and Galatasaray will be under special supervision by Euroleague.
