Ivory Coast – Cameroon 19.11.2014, riot police step in as crowds riot

The Ivory Coast qualified for the 2015 African Cup of Nations finals on Wednesday night in a 0-0 draw with Cameroon, but after the game the players had to wait a little time before celebrating.

After the final whistle, fans in Abidjan flooded the field to get close to their star players.

Gerhinho was manhandled by one pitch invader, and the Roma winger almost had his shorts ripped off his body.

Riot police stepped in, with force, to try and quell the crowd, while a crossbar was broken in the mayhem.
