Flamengo and Penarol fans clash before Copa Libertadores 03.04.2019

The clashes broke out hours before the match when the Uruguay fans appeared in Rio de Janerio near Copacabana beach. One Brazilian fan is in a serious condition with a head injury. About 100 Uruguay fans stopped by police and banned from the match.

There is also an investigation against 2 police officers who only stood and watched how Penarol fan is beaten by several Flamengo fans. These two policemen were arrested after this incident.
