The first fight broke out before the match in the city center between the Poles. Next clashes were on the streets before the game between Polish and Romanian fans. Later, Romanians and Poles clashed at the stadium. To Romania arrived more than 3,000 thousands of Polish fans.

Before the game 400 km from Bucharest about 300 Polish hooligans (Gornik Zabrze, GKS Katowice, ROW Rybnik ,Wisłoka Debica) stopped and returned by police to the Poland.
