Croatians punished by UEFA with fines and closed sectors in stadium

Croatian national team from European Championship, was punished by UEFA for incidents during match against Italy. The match in Milan was interrupted for 10 minutes because of croatian ultras who lighted and throwed pyro on the pitch. This action by away supporters was protest against the mafia in croatian football and Dinamo Zagreb’s boss – Mamic.

Croatian players will have to play their next home game qualifier – against Norway on 28th March 2015, in partially closed stadium. That means some of the sectors in national stadium will be closed.
The federation of the country get also fine of € 80 000, while the Italian national team recieved penalty of € 13 000 fine.

The Belgian Anderlecht will also have to play their next home game, which will be in the Europa League in partially closed stadium. The club was punished because of poor organization during the match against Galatasaray from Champions League.
