Birmingham City – Aston Villa 10.03.2019

The Birmingham City fan who punched Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish during Sunday’s derby has been jailed for 14 weeks after pleading guilty to assault and illegally entering the field of play.

Paul Mitchell, 27, was also banned from football for 10 years and ordered to pay £100 compensation to Grealish for the pain, discomfort and shock of the assault as well as a £115 victim surcharge and £135 in costs. He has also been banned for life by Birmingham City.

During the match there was also another incident.

Steward was arrested by the police after he kicked and pushed Jack Grealish while he celebrated the goal with the Aston Villa team.
