13 more arrests because of murdered fan of La Coruna

Spanish police arrested another 13 hooligans, members of radical football groups for the killing of a supporter of Deportivo La Coruna in Madrid two weeks ago.

The arrests were made on Thursday in the northwestern region of Galicia. The police detained another 21 people on the day of the murder of 30th November on “Vicente Calderon”.

On Tuesday, the police made 37 arrests in Madrid, Avila and Toledo. 43-year-old Francisco Taboada, Deportivo supporter, was killed on 30th November after a mass brawl between hooligan groups of Atletico Madrid and Deportivo La Coruna. Taboada was beaten and thrown into the river Manzanares and later died in hospital.
