Italy – Croatia 16.11.2014, match suspended after Croatians made trouble in their stand.

Croatian ultras threw pyrotechnics on the pitch as a protest against the Croatian football federation.

First pyro show after a goal, rest of it in second-half.

Riot police fought with away fans as a flood of flares landed upon the field and forced a temporary suspension of play in Milan at today’s Euro 2016 qualifier between Italy and Croatia.

The match was 1-1 in the 73rd minute when flares came raining down upon the pitch, coating the stadium in thick smoke. It appears Croatian fans were responsible for the bulk of the interruption, though Fox Sports reported that Italian supporters were not without fault.

Riots in city after match, 17 croatians were arrested.

Article will be updated with more photo and videos.
