Hull City fans criticise Belgian riot police after Lokeren match 21.08.2014

Hull City fans have criticised the actions of Belgian police following the 1-0 defeat to Lokeren last night. Hull fans say they were confronted by riot police with dogs and water cannons on Thursday evening.
Supporters group Amber Nectar said City fans had been “needlessly kettled” by police in full riot gear as they left the ground.

The police operation led fans past a pub used by Lokeren supporters. Trouble flared as Belgian supporters threw bottles towards Tigers supporters.
A number of City fans suffered injuries and there are unconfirmed reports six supporters were taken to hospital.
