F. C. Copenhagen group of fellow travelers fans were in the break of the match between FC Dnipro and FC Copenhagen in Kiev suffered from an attack by a large group of local spectators. No one is seriously injured.
2nd half of the match in Kiev was postponed due to a security vulnerability that allowed an attack on the group of FC Copenhagen fans, accounting for some 30 people. During the 1st half they were subjected to several missiles from the section above them, but in the middle of the break went seriously awry when a large group of local supporters got the chance to penetrate the otherwise enclosed spaces in which the away team’s fans were placed on without security personnel at the stadium intervened
The group of F. C. Copenhagen fans forced the fence down to the field to get to safety, reaching, aided by members of FCK’s staff, down to the exchange area where the chasing group could not get through security staff there.
The referee sets the first time in the match after the detection of a safe area to place FC Copenhagen fans on before being escorted from the stadium after the game
F. C. Copenhagen has obviously an ongoing dialogue with UEFA’s representatives on the ground in the security situation and called for a comprehensive escorted by both fans and the rest of the delegation after the game, so the safety of all guaranteed.
